Renovation of playgrounds

Over the past period, we have carried out the renovation of several playgrounds — a project that was not merely a job for us, but a heartfelt mission. We believe that children deserve the joy of carefree play, as this is the time when they can freely explore the world, make friends, and grow through play.

District I, and especially the area around the Castle, is home to several unique themed playgrounds. The Pom Pom, Rumini, and King Matthias playgrounds — all popular with children — also convey special cultural value.

The most recent project involved a comprehensive decorative refresh, based on the careful cleaning of surfaces and the disassembly and reassembly of play elements. A significant part of the work consisted of graphic design, as a separate graphic was created for each element, which then had to be precisely fitted on-site to the several dozen — approximately 40–50 — different surfaces.

At the Pom Pom playground, sixteen large-format Dibond panels were installed, reproducing illustrations by the world-renowned graphic artist Ferenc Sajdik. At the Rumini playground, more than fifty square metres of vinyl sticker décor was produced, placed on more than thirty different play elements. The King Matthias playground required a mixed approach: alongside thirty-eight square metres of vinyl stickers, an imposing one-hundred-and-fifty square metre mesh net was also installed.

The work was both a technical and a graphic challenge, as every detail had to fit precisely. The end result, however, speaks for itself: the playgrounds once again welcome visitors with fresh, striking, and durable decorations, while fittingly preserving the legacy of outstanding figures in Hungarian graphic arts culture.

Among our previous works is the 3D vinyl wrapping of our favourite little car, also carried out for Budavári Játszótér Üzemeltető Kft.

Thank you for the commission!
