Amid the changed circumstances, we place special importance on corporate social responsibility, and we consider Christmas one of the most beautiful occasions to support those in need.
That is why we are once again helping MikulásGyár achieve its goal, contributing 24 roll-ups and 96 posters to the donation drive for large families living in deep poverty — you can find them at the nationwide collection points in Auchan Hungary stores.
MikulásGyár's creed is solidarity rooted in the nature of humanism, and its mission is to improve the lives of many children — this year primarily through the collection of non-perishable food, cleaning and hygiene products, due to the pandemic and its economic effects.
MikulásGyár is open from 1 December to 20 December 2020 at Lurdy Ház from 10:00 to 19:00, and in addition to Auchan stores, most post offices also serve as official collection points. The received donations are sorted into boxes by volunteers, which Magyar Posta delivers to the county centres of the Hungarian Red Cross. The contents of the boxes — already packed as parcels — are distributed by the Red Cross on a needs basis.
In addition to providing corporate support, our colleagues also participate in the campaign with individual contributions, and we hope that with this short article we can inspire our Clients, Partners and Readers to donate as well.
