During the installation of the mesh nets we carried out, special care was taken to ensure that no damage whatsoever was caused to the structure of the building in the course of the works.
In the project, three mesh nets were installed, each with a custom fastening system tailored to the structure of the building. The supporting frames for the nets were manufactured in-house from galvanized steel. This was the best solution, taking into account both corrosion protection and aesthetic appearance. The fastening was achieved using a specially designed clamping system, known as "omega" elements, which made it possible to avoid drilling into or damaging the building's masonry in any way.
During the rope-access work, particular attention had to be paid to ensuring that the building sustained no damage during installation. To this end, three custom tools were developed. Thanks to these special solutions, it was possible to guarantee both the protection of the Museum of Ethnography and the efficiency of the work.
The nets were secured by folding them back onto the frames (2 pcs 700 x 993 cm, 1 pc 500 x 993 cm), thereby ensuring durability.
The technical solutions applied during the project and the custom-manufactured support structures may serve as a guide for future projects where modern technology and cultural heritage preservation go hand in hand.
