It is no coincidence, as on 30 April 2023 MKB Bank and Takarékbank merged and now operate under the name MBH Bank Nyrt. with a unified corporate identity.
The first step in establishing the unified identity was the replacement of the large signage on the façades of the buildings, which was carried out over the merger weekend.
That is, we carried it out!
We were delighted to see our colleagues at work in the pages of the press, striving for the best solution despite every difficulty as they completed the meticulously and thoroughly planned work processes.
We dismantled a total of 39 luminaires weighing 6.5 tonnes in all, across 3 locations.
We considered it important to recycle the LED light sources and the metal, or to find them a place where they could gain new purpose — so we professionally dismantled the LEDs and donated them to a civil sports organisation in Csepel, and we processed the scrap metal and handed it over for recycling.
After the dismantling, the spectacular and exciting installation of the new illuminated letter boxes could begin — boxes that we had previously manufactured according to the client's requirements and precise technical drawings.
At the Békéscsaba site, we renovated the 6.75 m x 2.5 m illuminated box. We replaced several hundred metres of LED strip and the banner fabric, and repainted the housing box on site. Due to the great height, the work was carried out with the assistance of our experienced industrial climber colleagues, observing the highest safety measures.
In addition, we manufactured a 4.5 m x 0.74 m milled dibond front panel plexiglass block letter illuminated box. This advertising display was installed at the main entrance of Csaba Center just recently.
Furthermore, 270 m² of one way vision and Avery 700 film were also produced, naturally cut to custom size, giving the façade glass surfaces a new look.
Two illuminated letter boxes, each weighing 450 kg, were installed on the rooftop (8th floor) of the Váci út headquarters. According to our original plan, we would have lifted the boxes into place using a crane, but due to the Papal Visit we were unable to obtain a permit for access and routing, so our industrial climbers rigged a safe 4-pulley rope system and hoisted the signage up to the roof.
Our third location was the Infopark, where we similarly lifted two illuminated letter boxes, each weighing 450 kg, to height and secured them safely in their pre-prepared positions.
Despite a short production and installation time, everything fit together perfectly in both time and space.
The enormous illuminated boxes now stand in place, reinforcing the corporate identity of this wholly Hungarian-owned major bank.
Following the merger, the branding of the former MKB Bank and Takarékbank branches will be gradually transformed in several stages, so customers will increasingly encounter the MBH Bank identity.
The production and installation of large-scale illuminated boxes of this kind requires considerable expertise and logistical preparation. Only entrust the implementation to a company with proven experience and references in this field.
